About Kirk Nowery

Kirk Nowery served for many years as Senior Pastor of what was then the largest church in Miami, Florida. In that role he led the church into a multi-campus strategy that became a model for hundreds of other congregations. Concurrent with his pastorate, Dr. Nowery was Chairman of Dade Christian School, then the nation’s largest private Christian academy.

During his years in Miami, Kirk wore one other hat: Chaplain of the NFL Miami Dolphins, from 1984 to 1994.

In 1995 Kirk joined Dr. John C Maxwell’s team and became President of Injoy Stewardship Services, leading that company in projects that raised billions of dollars for ministry projects in thousands of churches nationwide.

In 2006, Kirk became COO of Samaritan’s Purse, an organization he had long supported and with which his own children had served in key international roles.

Today, Kirk serves as Chief Strategic Officer for Hope Partners International. He does so on a voluntary basis, choosing to launch Kirk Nowery Strategies & Solutions as a “tentmaking” venture to undergird his international ministry. His work with key churches and leaders through KNS+S makes possible Kirk’s ministry through Hope Partners.
